The Office of the Auditor of Public Accounts is dedicated to providing a safe and secure way for the taxpayers of Kentucky to report waste, fraud, and abuse. The "SAFE" in SAFE-house stands for S ecure, A nonymous, and F ile- E ncrypted . Information obtained through the SAFE-house is stored on firewall-protected servers housed at an undisclosed location and accessible only to select staff in the Auditor's Office. Anonymity and Confidentiality

A person submitting information to the Auditor's SAFE-house may remain anonymous by not providing personal information. However, please understand that submitting information anonymously may limit our ability to obtain additional information that may be necessary for a thorough investigation. It is also important to note that all submissions of information-even those in which individuals have not requested anonymity--will remain confidential until notified otherwise.

Instructions for Submitting Information to the SAFE-house

Be sure to include as much information as possible, including any pertinent documents. This can be very important for initiating and completing an investigation.
