2017 County Audit Conference

Message from the Auditor

Dear County Government Official,

The Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts is hosting a County Audit Conference on September 28. I would like to take this opportunity to invite all county judge/executives, treasurers, finance officers, magistrates, commissioners, jailers, county clerks, sheriffs, and any other personnel from your county that may benefit from this training. The one-day event will offer detailed, practical information regarding county audits.

This conference will provide the most up-to-date information on legal and auditing standards. Training topics include:

  • APA Audit 101
  • Ethics
  • Anatomy of a Fraud
  • Wage and Hour Laws
  • Procurement
  • Jail Commissary
  • Tax Bill Process

Conference presenters will deliver essential content to help you with your daily duties. APA employees will add to these topics with audit-relevant tips, provide updates, and will be available to discuss issues and answer your questions

Please register early for this outstanding professional development and networking experience. I hope to see you in September!

Thanks and God Bless,

Mike Harmon
Auditor of Public Accounts
